Hundreds of people came to Masterton over Easter weekend to take part in the Te Kohanga Reo O Ngati Hamua 30th anniversary celebrations.
As part of the celebrations, a fair was held at Douglas Park School on Saturday.
Marlene Paewai, Te Kohanga Reo O Ngati Hamua, said it was a magnificent weekend.
"It was just all-round positive and the kids loved it," she said.
Many stall holders and community groups took the opportunity to sell goods at the fair and a stage was set up for impromptu performances from anyone who wanted to sing.
