Police are seeking a man over an aggravated knife-point robbery of a Porirua petrol station.
The robbery took place at the Mobil Service Station on Kenepuru Drive, Porirua about 6.20am on Sunday.
A man entered the service station brandishing a knife and demanding the attendant hand over the money.
"This was a distressing experience for the female attendant, who was present at the time in the garage," Detective Sergeant Shane Rongonui said.
The offender is described as being a male Maori or Polynesian in his early 20s, with a slim build and medium height. He wore a black jacket over a black hoodie, a black cap with white writing in front, distinctive black and white patterned gloves, grey track pants and black sneakers.
