A man held up an Avondale service station with a knife last night before taking off with a small amount of cash.
Police Inspector Turepu Keenan said a caucasian man believed to be in his twenties held up the Gull service station on Rosebank Road around 11.20 pm.
Police believe the man was wearing a grey jacket and grey shorts.
