A recurring knee injury has forced former New Zealand cricket international Chris Cairns to postpone a fundraising walk to promote rail safety and awareness.
Cairns was going to walk from Auckland to Rolleston near Christchurch, starting in February, in memory of his sister Louise, who was killed in a train crash there in 1993.
Toll NZ spokeswoman Sue Foley said the walk had now been moved to October.
