Kmart overcharged customers in sale

Kmart has admitted that it may have overcharged customers on items bought in a recent sale.

Kmart's "Mustn't Miss Out Sale" catalogue this month advertised a further 20 per cent off clothing and shoes already reduced by 50 per cent.

But the company said today customers who bought the clearance items at between January 18 and January 20 may not have been given the additional discount on some of their purchases.

It asked customers who had bought goods to return to the store, or call its Customer Relations Centre, in order to find out whether they were entitled to a refund.
