The Inland Revenue Department is warning people to ignore a scam email which is purporting to offer people tax refunds.
IRD had received multiple calls from people who received the email claiming to be from a tax-refund company and asking people for credit card details, IRD group manager Charles Ronaldson said.
"We're aware a new email is circulating, claiming to be from a tax refund company and we're advising people to ignore it," Mr Ronaldson said.
The IRD was not aware of anyone losing money to the scam.
