Almost 60 per cent of New Zealanders never secure their cellphones, despite being vigilant with other electronic security, research has found.
But the Unisys security index found 59 per cent always limited personal information posted on social networking websites and 61 per cent always updated security and virus protection on their computers.
Unisys said not locking their devices made people vulnerable to cyber crime and identity theft.
