One young New Zealander will have the chance to share a meal with Pope Benedict XVI for the World Youth Day Sydney 2008 festival, which runs from July 15 to July 20.
A festival spokeswoman said the Pontiff would share a private meal with 12 young people from around the world. One New Zealander would be attending.
World Youth Day representatives would choose who the New Zealander would be.
