A New Zealand man has appeared in an American court in connection with the armed robbery of a bank at a Colorado ski resort.
The Vail Daily News reports 19-year-old Anthony Prince and his Australian friend were arrested at Denver International Airport, just days after the armed robbery at the nearby Vail Ski Resort.
The pair had been living in the area for several months.
They were apprehended at the airport as they were trying to fly to an undisclosed location. Bags of money were found in a rubbish bin outside the terminal.
The men are now in federal custody, and a bond hearing will be held over Easter.
