A prominent New Zealand sportsman has been linked to an alleged international drug importation and supply conspiracy.
The sports star, who has interim name suppression, has not been charged over his alleged connections to the criminal case.
The case involves Tevita Fangupo, Tevita Kulu and Toni Finau, who are currently on trial in the High Court at Auckland before a jury and Justice Mathew Downs.
The trio face dozens of charges for the alleged importation and supply of methamphetamine and cocaine, and conspiracy to supply drugs.
Their trial continues.
