Another kiwi has been released into the Pukaha Mount Bruce forest north of Masterton, this time the first juvenile female.
The eight-month-old captive-bred kiwi was released into the 942ha forest on Monday. Twenty-one kiwis have been released into the forest in the past 4 years.
