A 45-year-old New Zealander holidaying in Fiji died in a collision during a "race" between two cars driven by cousins on the Seaqaqa highway in Labasa on Saturday night.
Police spokesman Corporal Josaia Weicavu said the car in which the New Zealander was riding blew out a tyre and the vehicles collided. One of the drivers was admitted to the Labasa hospital and police were questioning the other.
