Kiwi coin set for Obama

It's not often a New Zealand company sends money to the world's most powerful man.

But New Zealand Mint has done just that, sending a set of commemorative coins to US President Barack Obama to mark today's Independence Day celebrations.

The company has created a Flags of America coin set commemorating the 50th anniversary of the redesign of the US flag.

The set will be number one of 10,000, which the company hopes to sell worldwide.
