A preliminary courtroom grilling of the man accused of fleecing more than $16 million from Queensland Health continued behind closed doors today.
The media has been excluded from the hearing, during which lawyers from the State of Queensland and the Crime and Misconduct Commission will question Hohepa Morehu-Barlow about his alleged fraudulent behaviour.
The hearing, in the Supreme Court in Brisbane, began in April, when an application by the media to be present was rejected.
It continues this week, and is expected to focus on further establishing how the allegedly misappropriated funds were spent.
Barlow, also known as Joel Barlow, was arrested in December and is alleged to have defrauded the government department while working there between 2007 and 2011.
