Radio New Zealand presenter Kim Hill has won 'radio personality of the year' in the International Media Excellence Awards.
The awards run by the Association for International Broadcasting recognise the best TV and radio productions from across the globe.
Hill won radio personality of the year for her work on the Radio NZ Saturday Morning Show she has hosted for a decade.
Judges described her as an "experienced and warm broadcaster" who coaxes guests to reveal more of themselves while maintaining full control of her content.
"Really enjoyable live and sparky content that demonstrates what is great about radio and illustrates how important lightness of touch is in speech content."
