Internet entrepreneur Kim Dotcom has been remanded at large with his bail conditions unchanged at a bail hearing this morning.
Dotcom had faced the prospect of a return to jail today after New Zealand lawyers, acting for the United States in his extradition case, applied to the court last week for tighter restrictions on his bail conditions.
But in Auckland District Court today he was remanded at large on bail conditions set last week, including a ban on using helicopters, travelling by boat or travelling more than 80km from his home.

The entrepreneur spent a month in jail on remand after being arrested on criminal copyright charges in an FBI-inspired raid by police in January 2012.
