Killing of Kelly Alex Donner in Flaxmere described as 'merciless'

The killing of Kelly Alex Donner outside a pub in Flaxmere has been described as "needless and merciless" by police.

Police today released a photo of Donner along with an appeal for people with information about his death to come forward.

Donner was found dead outside a Flaxmere pub on Sunday.

Detective Inspector Mike Foster said the investigation team carried out a number of search warrants today which uncovered items of interest. A number of people had also been spoken to by police.

"Someone out there will know who is responsible for the needless and merciless killing of Mr Donner and I am appealing for them to come forward and speak with us," he said.

"Even if you think your information might not be relevant, we'd welcome your call so we can make an assessment and build up a picture of the victim's death and establish who was responsible."

No one had been charged in relation to Donner's death yet.
