Police are warning that a bottle of industrial-strength cocaine stolen from Palmerston North Hospital is a potential killer.
The controlled drug stored in a small glass bottle labelled cocaine, was believed to have been taken over the weekend.
Police and health officials were extremely concerned that the drug may be sold or taken recreationally, Detective Glen Jackson said today.
The cocaine was not the same as that used by drug users, due to its strength, which could be fatal if consumed.
