A 29-year-old South Auckland man has appeared in the North Shore District Court on charges relating to incidents in which two women were taken hostage in their vehicles at Coatesville on Wednesday.
The man faces counts of aggravated robbery, kidnapping, threatening to kill, and possession of a firearm.
