A man charged in connection with a 45-minute hostage drama and police chase in Auckland has reappeared in court this morning.
Leonard Hall, of Glendene, who faces three charges of kidnapping, was remanded in custody until July 7 for a pre-depositions hearing when he appeared briefly in the Auckland District Court.
The 34-year-old, who wore a green t-shirt with the slogan 'mo money shot' on it, gestured to the media as he has done in previous appearances.
He pointed to the slogan, yelled out "Mongrel Mob" and swore. He also blew a kiss to a young woman sitting in the public gallery with a small child.
Further charges are expected to be laid against Hall in the next week.
