Four men accused of kidnapping two men from an Auckland house last month have were further remanded when they appeared in the Auckland District Court today.
Besi Lolohea Faapoi, 45, Ofisa Andrew Kopelani, 29, Robert Logo, 31, and Adrian Andrew Ng Wun face various charges ranging from kidnap, assault with intent to injure and participating in an organised criminal group.
All four men will reappear on February 9 for a post-committal conference.
Ross Romana, 33, will appear in court tomorrow on similar charges and a sixth man, Joe Tie, 36, will appear on January 19 on one charge of kidnapping.
All six were arrested after armed police found two men with minor injuries in a house in Bond Street, Grey Lynn on December 17.
The maximum penalty for kidnapping is 14 years' prison.
