A four-times world champion kickboxer has been banned from SkyCity and charged with trespassing.
Shane "Choppa" Chapman, 33, from West Auckland, told the Herald on Sunday he was arrested recently after being banned from SkyCity last year for kicking a door in a hotel room.
Chapman is a super middleweight kickboxer and boxer. He was the 2002 and 2004 K-1 Oceania Max champion and four times Muay Thai world champion.
Chapman made a return to the Muay Thai ring in March this year after more than two years away and defeated American Alexander Anoushian.
He was arrested on September 28 after he returned to the casino. "I wasn't aware I was not allowed to go there. I thought it was just the hotel I was barred from," he said.
