A gun-toting male has robbed a Christchurch KFC, demanding money before fleeing in a getaway car.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the armed robbery at KFC Riccarton, about 8.07pm on Tuesday.
A statement said the man entered the store brandishing a firearm and demanding money from employees.
He then fled the premises to a black getaway car parked on Picton Ave.
Police said the getaway car, driven by another male, was seen turning into Nelson St, towards Riccarton Mall.
