Rolling Stones guitarist Keith Richards has been released from Auckland's Ascot Hospital which had monitored a head injury suffered falling out of a palm tree in Fiji, the AP news agency has reported.
Richards, 62, suffered a mild concussion last week while staying at the exclusive hideaway Wakaya Club resort in Fiji last Thursday.
He was treated in a Fiji hospital before being airlifted to Ascot Hospital for observation.
"I can categorically confirm Mr Richards...is no longer a patient in this hospital," duty manager Geoff Sparks told The Associated Press. "He has been discharged."
It was not immediately clear exactly when Richards was released or where he went after release.
