Filming of Keisha Castle-Hughes' new movie will go ahead despite her pregnancy announcement.
Buena Vista International Australia publicist Sam Jones said last night that the 16-year-old's condition would have "no impact whatsoever" on filming for Hey, Hey It's Esther Blueburger.
"Obviously the film is about teenage issues so it's interesting that Keisha should be pregnant, but that's her own private issue."
Filming is due to start on October 30 and will finish on December 15. The movie is due to be released in the middle of next year.
Castle-Hughes has been cast as Sunni, the best friend of 13-year-old Esther, in the coming-of-age movie.
