Kayaker missing

The search for a missing New Zealand kayaker resumed off the coast of Scotland last night.

The 50-year-old man failed to return after leaving the west coast of the Shetland Islands on Thursday morning in choppy conditions.

Police said he was an experienced kayaker and had been living on Shetland for some time.
