Emergency services are searching for a woman lost in the the Kaimai Ranges.
Katikati woman Sheree Tuahuru, 35, told her partner yesterday that she was going to walk to the Ananui Falls off Woodland Rd.
She began her walk about 11am and was not equipped to be in the bush overnight. She was reported overdue just after midnight.
Tauranga Police and Land Search and Rescue teams from Tauranga, Waihi and Paeroa are scouring the bush looking for her.
Tauranga police are asking any trampers who were in the area or at the Waitawheta Hut in the past 24 hours to contact Sergeant Craig Madden on 07 577 4300.
