Karangahake Gorge opens under one lane management

Traffic flow will slowly resume on the main link between Bay of Plenty and Waikato this morning.

A slip closed the Karangahake Gorge on State Highway 2 from Paeroa to Waihi yesterday evening, halting traffic in both directions.

However, as of 6.20am today one lane is open on the Karangahake Gorge.
