An inquest into the 2006 slayings twin babies Chris and Cru Kahui, who died from severe head injuries, resumes in Auckland today.
Their father, Chris Kahui, was found not guilty in 2008 of murdering the three month old twins who died from head injuries in 2006 but no one else has been charged.
The twins' mother Macsyna King has also denied causing the injuries which led to their deaths.
Mr Kahui, Ms King and family members have given evidence at the inquest which began on October 4.
During the next two weeks, evidence will be heard be heard from medical specialists and others, including Children's Commissioner John Angus.
The inquest will then be adjourned until 2011 to ensure evidence was transmitted to two Australian experts, who would give evidence in the new year.
