An inquest into the death of the Kahui twins will begin in October.
The inquest, to be carried out by Wellington coroner Garry Evans, will start in the Coroner's Court in Auckland on October 4.
Four weeks have been set down for the hearing.
Three-month-old Cru and Chris Kahui died in Auckland's Starship Hospital in June 2006 after being admitted with head injuries.
Their father, Chris Kahui, was found not guilty of their murder in 2008 in one of the most high profile trials in recent years.
