The man charged with murdering his twin baby sons has told a court his medical evidence differed from crown evidence.
Chris Kahui, 21, was charged with murdering his three-month-old sons Chris and Cru Kahui in June last year.
In Manukau District Court today he said through his lawyer Lorraine Smith that evidence from his own expert witness differed from the Crown.
Ms Smith said in court the defence expert was still examining the evidence very carefully and had yet to prepare a final report.
She was granted an adjournment for a month for another pre-depositions hearing.
The case was also set down for a depositions hearing in July.
The babies died in hospital five days after they were admitted with head injuries. Both babies had historic rib injuries and one had a broken thigh bone.
