KEY POINTS:
Five teenage males have been charged with seriously wounding two men who were standing on Karangahape Rd, Auckland, at 1am yesterday.
Police said the pair were approached by the teenagers driving in a car who then set upon them in an unprovoked attack.
The co-accused, aged between 16 and 19, were granted bail and interim name suppression until Thursday when they will reappear in the Auckland District Court.
