A company has been ordered to pay up after security guards were not paid for their work at the Coromandel Gold music festival.
Cherie Manning, June Tane and Kun Hong were all employed by Code Security Solutions Limited to work at the music festival in December 2012.
An Employment Relations Authority determination said the three employees all worked between two and four days at the festival, providing security at various locations.
They were told they would be paid between $17 and $20 gross per hour.
Ms Manning also obtained a certificate of approval to provide security services and bought black clothing, which she was required to wear.
