The Wellington District Court jury in the battling blondes wounding case retired this afternoon to consider its verdict.
Bridget Masters, aged 20, has denied injuring Victoria Clapham, 22, with intent to wound her.
The jury was told that Masters smashed a champagne glass over Ms Clapham's head when she turned up at a bar wearing a silver dress given to her by her boyfriend Matthew Vibert.
He had bought the dress in America for Masters but she had not taken it when the pair broke up.
Masters denied any intention to hurt Ms Clapham and said she had no recollection of the glass leaving her hand.
