Jury for murder trial chosen

A jury has been chosen to hear the trial of a man accused of murdering a father of four in south Auckland in March last year.

Sam Simi, 26, has pleaded not guilty in the High Court in Auckland to murdering Olo Fiti Lauvi.

Mr Lauvi, 37, died after he was stabbed outside a friend's place in Preston Rd, Otara, on March 27 last year.

The trial is expected to last three weeks.
