Junior sisters seeded

The Atkinson sisters are expected to spearhead the Wairarapa challenge at the Tennis Central regional performance junior tennis singles tournament at the Masterton Tennis Centre tomorrow and Sunday.
Sade Atkinson is top seed in the girls 14 years section while Georgia Atkinson is third seed for the girls 12 years division.
More than 70 youngsters in the 10-16-year age groups will be in action over the two days, from the Taranaki, Wanganui, Manawatu, Hutt Valley, Kapi Mana, Wellington and Wairarapa regions.
Up for grabs will be places in the Central teams to compete against Northern and Waikato in the Spring Tri Series competition and in the national age group teams event to be played in January 2011. Play starts at 8.30am tomorrow with finals scheduled for Sunday afternoon.
