Justice Minister Judith Collins will head to a summit in the United Kingdom, where she will meet Hollywood star Angelina Jolie.
Ms Collins will represent New Zealand in London at the Global Summit to End Sexual Violence in Conflict from June 10 to 13.
The summit will be co-chaired by Jolie in her capacity as Special Envoy for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, and UK Foreign Secretary William Hague.
It is billed as "the biggest global meeting on this issue ever convened", and 70 Government ministers will attend, including US Secretary of State John Kerry.
It aims to create "irreversible momentum against sexual violence in conflict and practical action that impacts those on the ground".
