Judge in crash with police

A judge is being investigated after his car collided with a police vehicle.

Manukau District Court judge Semi Epati was involved in the crash in Wiri Station Rd about 5pm last Tuesday.

He had a routine breath alcohol test which was negative.

Epati said no one was hurt in the collision but he was reluctant to discuss it.

"The police came over and wrote a report and I am waiting so this is the reason why I can't talk to anybody," he said.

"I signed it and it's with the police which is why I can't discuss it at all."
