Five comments posted on social media sites on election day have been referred to police by the Electoral Commission.
The Commission says the comments posted by members of the public are deemed to be aimed at influencing voters, breaching the Electoral Act.
Another broadcaster has also been referred to the police after an alleged breach of the Broadcasting Act.
This time it's Mediaworks for The Jono Project on November 4, which the Commission believes was an election programme.
A number of other complaints are already being investigated by police.
