He may have appeared as a guest on a primetime TV chatshow, but Prime Minister John Key's still an unknown to some in the United States.
Mr Key was labelled an "unidentified guest" in a New York Daily News slideshow of world leaders at Nelson Mandela's memorial service.
Chinese Vice-President Li Yuanchao, Cuban President Raul Castro and Chelsea Clinton, daughter of former US President Bill Clinton, were all identified.
Mr Key, who has appeared on the Late Show with David Letterman, led the official New Zealand delegation to South Africa. He was accompanied by Labour leader David Cunliffe, former Prime Minister Jim Bolger, former Commonwealth Secretary-General Sir Don McKinnon and Maori Affairs Minister Pita Sharples.
It originally looked as if New Zealand's delegation would be limited to Mr Key and Mr Cunliffe but South African officials eventually allowed all five to attend.
