National Leader John Key has donated money to his own party.
The development has been revealed in the latest party donation returns published by the Electoral Commission.
By law, anyone who contributes more than 20 thousand dollars in a 12 month period must file a return.
According to the Electoral Commission John Key contributed $30 thousand to the National Party on the 12th of this month.
