Wanted: military personnel with nerves of steel and a pair of steady hands.
The New Zealand Defence Force is advertising for staff to take on one of New Zealand's most dangerous jobs, joining their bomb disposal team.
The jobs as explosive ordnance disposal operators - whose role includes being prepared to disarm chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear and improvised explosive devices - are available to existing personnel and new recruits.
The high-pressure role entails domestic and overseas operations.
The Defence Force said the recruitment drive is not linked to the Government's decision to send troops to Iraq to help train local forces in their fight with Isis insurgents.
