Jin the elusive otter lying low

Auckland Zoo staff have called off the search for Jin the otter until she is spotted again.

Fifteen days after her escape from the zoo, the otter continues to elude her pursuers.

When the net appeared to be closing on her on Rangitoto Island this week Jin returned to the mainland, where she surprised a couple on Monday afternoon by popping out of the water at Narrow Neck Beach.
