A Jetstar worker cleared of assaulting shock jock Iain Stables is back at work, but is being kept well away from customers.
Patrick Ulberg is working as a baggage handler at Auckland Airport after a judge ruled he had acted in self-defence during a fracas with Stables last October.
Ulberg's employers, airport contractor SkyCare International, said they had supported him throughout the court process and paid his legal expenses.
Stables, facing a disorderly conduct charge from the incident, is defiant about who was to blame .
"The judge should put his f***ing contacts in and have another look (at the video)," he said after the verdict.
Stables has said that the incident cost him his job at Radio Hauraki. He is due to reappear on July 28 in Manukau District Court.
