Name suppression has lapsed for a Rotorua police jailer who has been charged with attempting to supply methamphetamine to a prisoner.
Jedda Elizabeth Ranclaud, 33, from Rotorua, appeared in the Rotorua District Court on Tuesday and was granted interim name suppression until yesterday.
Her lawyer, Harry Edward, said he was given instructions not to pursue name suppression.
Ranclaud was charged after the Rotorua police set up an undercover sting in the police station jail.
It is alleged Ranclaud passed the drug P from one prisoner to another on August 5.
She was granted bail and will reappear in court on September 20 for a pre-depositions hearing.
