Two men involved in a high-speed car chase in Central Otago which was stopped by a flock of sheep on the road have each been sentenced to 10 months in prison.
Sean Evan Cairns and Christopher Cody Mason were before Judge Kevin Phillips in the Dunedin District Court for sentencing after the chase near Queenstown.
The pair were two of four fugitives involved in a police pursuit through Central Otago on January 21.
Mason was disqualified for driving for 18 months, and ordered to pay reparation of $144.
Cairns received 10 months in prison, and was disqualified for 18 months, reparation of $114
