A 21-year-old woman has been jailed for 16 months for her part in an attack in which a man was kicked unconscious and had a swastika scratched into his buttocks with a screwdriver.
Briana Rose Murray, of Wanaka, was sentenced in Queenstown District Court this week for injuring with intent to injure in Christchurch in August last year and a burglary charge, the Southland Times reported.
Murray fell in with members of the Christchurch skinhead community and during a drinking session, with two others, attacked a 23-year-old male, who was pulled to the floor and his head stomped on up to 20 times, the court was told.
When the victim regained consciousness he found his pants pulled down and something cutting his buttocks.
It was not clear how many times Murray had kicked or stomped on him, or who scratched a swastika into the his buttocks with the screwdriver.
The victim suffered blurred vision, a swollen jaw, chipped teeth, cuts and psychological damage.
Judge Dominic Flatley sentenced Murray to 16 months' jail for assault, two months' for burglary and subject to a recall in Christchurch to consider remittance of outstanding fines of $8810.
