A jack-knifed caravan has caused traffic delays at a busy Auckland motorway junction today.
The caravan overturned on the southern motorway at the intersection with the Greenlane roundabout around 11am, northern police shift commander Peter Raynes said.
Concerns about a gas canister on board the caravan prompted a call to the Fire Service as a precaution, he said.
It caused some minor delays to traffic in the area, Mr Raynes said, but the road has now re-opened.
An investigation into how and why the caravan overturned is underway.
