The team behind Hydroptere, the hydrofoiling trimaran that last year broke the world speed sailing record at an average speed of 50 knots, plan to sail around the globe in 50 days.
A Swiss-French project l'Hydroptere is being built in two shipyards, one in Brittany and one in Switzerland, and the test boat is due to be launched in a couple of months.
