What could be more fun than The Wind in the Willows? This outdoor production enables you to follow Toad, Ratty, Mole and Badger around Killarney Park and Lake Pupuke as they try to find a picnic spot, deal with Toad's escapades with his new car, and rid Toad Hall of the nasty weasels.

Take the bus to Big Day Out. Extra train services will run from all stations to Penrose. A continuous bus service will run between Real Groovy Records at 450 Queen St and O'Rorke Rd, beside Mt Smart Stadium, from 9.15am to 2pm. To get home, take the train from Penrose, south (until 1am) and to Britomart (until 1.10am). The last train west leaves Britomart at 12.43pm. Buses will run regularly from the stadium from 9.30pm to the Civic Theatre in Wellesley St. Northern Express buses leave from Britomart until 1am and NiteRider buses from the Civic or St James until 3am.
